Short term rentals have arrived in Pasadena and in our own neighborhoods! Like it or not, AirB&B and others are offering rentals in single family and multiple family housing areas. The City Planning and Community Development Department is administering new regulations, which took effect on 12 March 2018. The ordinance allows homeowners, leaseholders and renters the opportunity to rent out their homes/apartments/condos on as short a term as one day. To protect our neighborhoods, we need to make sure that the City and our neighbors follow the rules now in place. See Ordinance 7317 and PMC section 17.50.296
